Sustainability

Flotation Energy is dedicated to generating clean energy in the most sustainable and environmentally responsible way.

We are leading the way in the development of offshore wind projects and are committed to reducing our carbon footprint, contributing to the fight against climate change, and leading by example in the renewable energy industry.

As a developer of offshore wind projects, we operate at the forefront of the global energy transition, directly contributing to decarbonisation, climate resilience, and the creation of a cleaner, more sustainable energy system.

Our work aligns closely with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly those focused on Climate Action, Affordable and Clean Energy, Decent Work and Economic Growth, and Gender Equality.

We strive to work to the highest Quality, Environmental and Safety standards demonstrated by our established compliance with the ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 standards.

Our goal is to be carbon neutral by 2035, and achieve net zero by 2045, in alignment with both the TEPCO Group and the UK and Scottish governments’ ambitious sustainability goals.

Our inaugural ESG Report

It follows the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards and draws on recommendations from the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) and the Taskforce on Climate related Financial Disclosures (TCFD).

This report introduces our ESG strategy and sets the stage for more detailed reporting in future years.
