We’re proud to have achieved Gold in the Armed Forces Covenant Employer Recognition Scheme, highlighting our ongoing commitment to supporting the UK Armed Forces community.

The award was presented at Edinburgh Castle on 15 October, alongside 24 other organisations recognised for their commitment to serving and former Armed Forces personnel and their families.

At Flotation Energy, we recognise the exceptional skills and experience that people bring from military service into civilian careers.

Leadership, resilience, teamwork and a strong commitment to safety are particularly valuable in offshore wind, where developing complex projects requires collaboration, adaptability and the ability to overcome challenges.

We’re committed to creating opportunities for people to build rewarding careers in the energy sector and to ensuring their experience and contribution are recognised and valued.

Our HSE Manager, Mark Hourston, and Principal Onshore Consenter, Gemma Lee, represented Flotation Energy at the ceremony.

Achieving Gold is a fantastic milestone and recognition of the progress we’ve made in supporting the Armed Forces community. It’s a commitment we’re proud of and one we’ll continue to build on.
